You do not have to worry about aluminum fencing rusting. The look of the fence will not fade either. Maintenance is not required with the exception to a quick wash with the hose. This can be done when you notice the fence is dirty.
Vinyl Can Be Durable and Easy - If you're looking to put a fence around your property, vinyl fencing is popular, especially in Western Florida. Vinyl fencing will not break during high wind and storms. This type requires very little upkeep, and its color and strength won't diminish over time. Vinyl is also non-toxic and safe for family and pets.
Fencing is at the crux of American homeownership. The vast majority of homes, young and old, rural and urban, utilize some type of fencing on the property. Fences serve a variety of purposes, from privacy to security to landscape appeal. And just as uses for fencing vary, so do the materials available for fence building. Wood, vinyl, aluminum, and iron fencing are all popular fencing materials. Each material has its own range of styles and grades.
Quality Installation is the key to a successful fencing project. Do you know your Contractor? How long have they been in business? Are they licensed in your state? And are they bonded and insured and able to show you documentation? And does It matter to you if they have an actual business address versus working out of their truck? Check them out on Angie's List or with the Better Business Bureau. Ask about warranties, and always get a written estimate that spells out the materials, dimensions and installation methods. And any reputable Fence Builder will offer you a limited warranty on both labor and materials.
If you over water the concrete which is very easy to do this will result in concrete that has an exponential loss of strength. The concrete will require a month to reach its full strength. You can begin to work with the concrete in as little as 24 hours after placement given decent weather. In very cold weather allow at least 48 hours before resuming the remainder of the fence building project. During warmer weather or in the summer you can plan to be building the remainder of the fence 24 hours after pouring the concrete posts in place. As part of the post setting process it is critically important that you take the time to set up supports for your fence. If you do not set up supports for the fence the fence posts may slip out of plumb during the concrete curing process. If this happens you will come back the following day to discover that your fence posts are no longer plumb and square. This would require the removal and resetting of the fence posts. This is something that you want to most certainly avoid so taking the extra time to set up a system to hold your posts perfectly in place is a great idea.
